Kent State Tuscarawas Volleyball dominated Lakeland Community College on October 1, earning a straight-set victory with scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-19.
The Golden Eagles' offense was led by Allie Snyder, who recorded 6 kills and 2 service aces for a team-high 8 points. Rylee Sensabaugh was highly efficient at the net, adding 5 kills with a .500 hitting percentage. At the same time, Allie Keller directed the offense with 20 assists and contributed 4 aces to keep the attack moving smoothly.
Kent State's defense was equally as strong, with the team combining for 49 digs and controlling the net with several key blocks, including 8.5 points from Jaileigh Price. The Golden Eagles limited Lakeland to 24 kills and 19 errors, never allowing the Lakers to gain momentum.
With the win, Kent State Tuscarawas improves to 13-2 on the season and looks to carry the momentum into their next match on October 4th.
