The Golden Eagles Volleyball team continued their strong start to the season with a road sweep over Cuyahoga Community College on Sunday afternoon. Kent State Tuscarawas controlled the match from start to finish, winning in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-22, and 25-17.
The Golden Eagles showcased a balanced attack throughout the night. Leading the way offensively was Mackenzie Neininger, who tallied a team-high 8 kills to pace the front line. Setter Allie Keller directed the offense efficiently, distributing 22 assists to keep the attack in rhythm and create scoring opportunities across the court.
On the defensive side, Elizabeth Keller turned in an outstanding performance, anchoring the back row with 19 digs. Her consistency and coverage limited Cuyahoga's offensive momentum and kept the Golden Eagles in control throughout each set.
With the victory, Kent State Tuscarawas improves to 10-2 on the season.
