Kent State University at Tuscarawas delivered another dominant performance, defeating Hocking College, 107–75, in convincing fashion.
The Golden Eagles set the tone early and never looked back, using strong ball movement and relentless rebounding to take control of the game. Kent State Tuscarawas established an inside presence from the opening tip while also finding rhythm from beyond the arc, steadily building separation as the game progressed.
Ethan Bower led the way with a game-high 29 points, putting on a shooting display by knocking down nine three-pointers while also dishing out eight assists and collecting six steals in an outstanding all-around effort. Garrett Sprutte added 22 points and eight rebounds, consistently attacking the basket and converting at the free-throw line. Jaxon Robb controlled the paint with 20 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double, while Dasjuan Williams chipped in 16 points in an efficient outing.
The Golden Eagles were dominant on the glass, outrebounding Hocking College 51–35, including 34 defensive rebounds to limit second-chance opportunities. Kent State Tuscarawas shot 50% from the field and connected on 12 three-pointers while recording 28 assists, showcasing their unselfish play and offensive rhythm throughout the contest.
Hocking College was led by John Glover IV with 18 points and Mouhamadu Seck with 20 off the bench, but Kent State Tuscarawas' defensive pressure and balanced scoring proved too much to overcome.
With the win, the Golden Eagles once again demonstrated their depth, chemistry, and ability to control the game on both ends of the floor.
