Kent State–Tuscarawas dropped an 87–77 road decision to Cincinnati-Clermont on January 4, 2026, after falling behind early and being unable to overcome a strong first half by the Cougars. Cincinnati-Clermont jumped out to a 49–32 halftime lead before Tuscarawas outscored them 45–38 in the second half.

Jaxon Robb led Kent State–Tuscarawas with 16 points and a team-high 11 rebounds, recording a double-double while shooting 7-of-14 from the field. Blaine Raber added 11 points and dished out seven assists, while Dasjuan Williams provided a spark off the bench with 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting, including two three-pointers. Ethan Bower finished with seven points, and Garrett Sprutte contributed eight points, nine rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.
