Kent State–Tuscarawas earned an 89–79 road victory over Miami–Middletown on December 20, using balanced scoring and a strong second half to secure the win.
The Golden Eagles led 44–39 at halftime and maintained their edge after the break, and outscoring Middletown 45-40 in the second half. Ethan Bower led all scorers with 23 points, knocking down four three-pointers and going a perfect 5-for-5 from the free-throw line. Garrett Sprutte added an efficient 20 points on 9-of-16 shooting while also contributing five assists and seven rebounds.
Kent State–Tuscarawas got a big boost from its bench, particularly Dasjuan Williams, who scored 13 points in just 17 minutes while shooting 5-for-6 from the field. Jaxon Robb chipped in 12 points and five rebounds, and Jerry Arrington added 11 points in 21 minutes.
As a team, Kent State–Tuscarawas shot 44.7% from the field and connected on 12 three-pointers, helping them withstand Miami–Middletown's efforts to rally late.
The Golden Eagles will be back in action on December 30, 2025, when they travel to Malone University for a 3:00 p.m. tip-off.
