Kent State–Tuscarawas put together an impressive offensive performance Tuesday night, rolling to a 102–82 victory over Lorain behind efficient scoring and strong ball movement.
Garrett Sprutte led the way with a dominant outing, pouring in a game-high 33 points on 13-of-19 shooting while adding eight rebounds and six assists. Jaxon Robb followed with a well-rounded performance of 16 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, anchoring the Golden Eagles on both ends of the floor.
Kent State–Tuscarawas showcased its depth and unselfish play, finishing with 26 assists on 40 made field goals. Ethan Bower contributed 11 points and five assists, while Brody Moreland added 11 points off the bench, providing an important spark.
The Golden Eagles controlled the glass with a 49–rebound effort and shot 48.2 percent from the field. Their ability to push the pace and capitalize on scoring opportunities allowed them to pull away in the second half.
The Golden Eagles are set to play SouthEastern Illinois College on December 19, at 5:00 PM for Miami Middletown's Christmas Tournament.
