Kent State Tuscarawas battled throughout but ultimately fell 101–63 on the road against a sharp-shooting Ashland squad. The Golden Eagles trailed 48–28 at halftime and were unable to close the gap as Ashland continued its momentum in the second half.
Despite the loss, several Kent State Tuscarawas players delivered notable performances. Ethan Bower led the way with 17 points, knocking down five three-pointers and playing a team-high 33 minutes. Garrett Sprutte added 16 points on an efficient 8-of-13 shooting while pulling down seven rebounds, showing his consistency on both ends of the floor. Jaxon Robb contributed 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists, while Jerry Arrington had a well-rounded performance with 7 rebounds and 4 points.
The Golden Eagles received productive minutes off the bench from Dasjuan Williams with 4 points and 4 rebounds, and Brody Moreland, who added 2 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
