Kent State Tuscarawas improved to 4–3 after earning a strong 90–73 victory over Lorain County Community College on Saturday. The game was tight early, with the Golden Eagles holding a narrow 46–44 halftime lead, but a dominant 44–29 second half allowed them to take control.
Leading the way was Garrett Sprutte, who delivered a standout 27-point, 11-rebound double-double. Blaine Raber added 15 points, and Jaxon Robb filled the stat sheet with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists, helping guide a balanced offensive effort.
Tuscarawas' strength on the boards proved decisive, as they posted a 58–37 rebounding advantage, creating second-chance opportunities and limiting Lorain's response. Solid ball movement and timely defense in the second half helped the Golden Eagles secure the win and continue building early-season momentum.
