Kent State Tuscarawas Men's Basketball Defeats CCBC

Monaca, PA – November 8, 2025

The Kent State University at Tuscarawas men's basketball team capped off a successful road trip with a 100–91 victory over Community College of Beaver County on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Eagles built a 46–37 halftime lead and held off a late surge from the Titans to secure back-to-back wins.

Garrett Sprutte led Kent State Tuscarawas with 23 points and 8 rebounds, continuing his strong early-season play. Ethan Bower and Dasjuan Williams each added 17 points, with Williams providing an offensive spark off the bench, shooting 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. Blaine Raber turned in another solid all-around performance with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Jaxon Robb controlled the glass, finishing with 11 rebounds and 6 points.

As a team, the Golden Eagles shot an impressive 55.2% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range, while also converting 70.8% of their free throws. Kent State Tuscarawas outrebounded Beaver County 43–30 and shared the ball effectively, tallying 16 assists on 37 made field goals.

With the win, the Golden Eagles improve to 2–2 on the season and will look to carry their momentum into their next matchup against Penn State Beaver on Nov. 12 at 6:00 PM.
