LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — November 7, 2025 — The Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles continued their incredible postseason run, defeating Wright State–Lake Campus in four sets (25-20, 25-9, 20-25, 25-21) to advance to the USCAA Division II National Championship match.
Mackenzie Neininger delivered a dominant performance, leading the Golden Eagles with 24 kills on a stellar .467 hitting percentage and adding 5 digs for a match-high 24 points. Allie Snyder followed with 13 kills, 3 service aces, and 12 digs, contributing 16 total points.
Setter Rylee Sensabaugh orchestrated the offense with 29 assists, while Allie Keller added 23 assists, 4 kills, and 3 aces. Elizabeth Keller anchored the defense with an outstanding 34 digs, helping the Golden Eagles control long rallies and limit Wright State's attack.
At the net, Jaileigh Price chipped in 10 kills and 3 block assists, and Lillian Ediger added 5 kills and 1 ace to round out a balanced team effort.
As a team, Kent State Tuscarawas hit .216, tallied 11 aces, and collected 84 digs in a strong all-around performance.
The Golden Eagles will now compete for the USCAA Division II National Championship tomorrow (Saturday, November 8) at 6:30 p.m.
