Golden Eagles Volleyball Split Weekend
 

 

 The Golden Eagles volleyball team hit the court for a tri-match at Penn State DuBois, delivering a strong performance in both contests.

In their opening match, Kent State Tuscarawas battled hard but fell to USCAA Division I powerhouse Salem University in four sets (18-25, 19-25, 25-23, 17-25).

Mackenzie Neininger led the offense with 14 kills, while Allie Keller paced the team with 38 assists. On defense, Elizabeth Keller anchored the back row with an impressive 31 digs.

The Golden Eagles bounced back in dominant fashion in their second match, sweeping host Penn State DuBois in straight sets (25-6, 25-10, 25-9.

Neininger again led the attack with 8 kills, while Allie Snyder added 4 kills and a standout 7 service aces. Keller continued her strong play at setter, dishing out 19 assists.

With the split, the Golden Eagles continue to build momentum and will look to carry that energy into their next road matchup against Penn State Shenango on Thursday, September 11 at 6:00 PM.
