KSU Tuscarawas WBB Wins Second Straight

Kent State Tuscarawas delivered a commanding 84–48 victory over Clark State Community College, using a balanced scoring attack and overwhelming presence on the boards to pull away late.

The Golden Eagles led 38–30 at halftime before turning the game into a blowout with a dominant 28–5 fourth quarter, their most productive period of the night. Kent State–Tuscarawas shot 35.6% from the field (31-87) and 29.4% from three-point range (10-34), while nearly perfect free-throw shooting (12-13, 92.3%) helped put the game out of reach.

Tamarra Thomas paced the offense with 22 points, hitting 4-of-12 from beyond the arc, while also adding six assists, two steals, and just one turnover in 36 minutes. Kadence Stutz was efficient, scoring 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting, including 4 three-pointers, and grabbing seven rebounds. Mallory Stutzman contributed 19 points, five assists, and two steals, while shooting 7-of-16 from the floor.

In the paint, Abbey Parker dominated in limited minutes, recording 19 points and 13 rebounds in just 16 minutes, shooting 7-of-11 from the field and 5-of-5 at the free-throw line. Kent State–Tuscarawas finished with a 50–31 rebounding advantage, including 24 offensive rebounds, creating numerous second-chance opportunities.

The Golden Eagles also shared the ball effectively with 18 assists, forced 5 turnovers, and collected 10 steals, holding Clark State to single digits in the fourth quarter.
