Golden Eagles WBB Cruises to Win 13

Kent State–Tuscarawas delivered a dominant performance on February 1, 2026, cruising to an 84–30 victory over Andrews University behind relentless defense and control of the glass.

The Golden Eagles jumped out early and never looked back, building a 23–4 first-quarter lead and holding Andrews to single-digit scoring in every period. Kent State–Tuscarawas finished with a commanding 64–25 rebounding advantage, including 25 offensive rebounds, consistently creating second-chance opportunities.

Kadence Stutz and Mallory Stutzman led the scoring attack with 20 points apiece. Stutz added a double-double with 11 rebounds, while Stutzman chipped in 11 rebounds, four steals, and efficient perimeter shooting. Tamarra Thomas contributed 18 points and four assists, and Abbey Parker dominated inside with 16 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.

Defensively, Kent State–Tuscarawas forced 17 turnovers, recorded 17 steals, and limited Andrews to just 30 points on the game, holding them to single-digit scoring in three of four quarters. The Golden Eagles also converted 16-of-20 free throws to cap off a complete team effort and a convincing home win.
