Kent State–Tuscarawas delivered a strong road performance Sunday, pulling away from Miami–Middletown for an 89–62 victory on January 11, 2026.

The visiting Golden Eagles set the tone early, jumping out to a 27–11 lead after the first quarter and never looking back. Kent State–Tuscarawas showcased efficient offense throughout the game, shooting 56.9 percent from the field and 60 percent from three-point range.

Zoey Steele led all scorers with a dominant 32-point outing, knocking down 13 of 22 shots and adding five rebounds and four assists. Tamarra Thomas followed with 19 points and four assists, while Mallory Stutzman added 18 points and six rebounds, hitting three shots from beyond the arc.

Kent State–Tuscarawas also controlled the glass, outrebounding Miami–Middletown 37–26, with Abbey Parker and Daniya King combining for 15 rebounds. The balanced effort allowed the Golden Eagles to steadily extend their lead in the second half.
