The Golden Eagles controlled the game on both ends of the floor from the opening tip, using defensive pressure and efficient offense to build a steady lead. Kent State–Tuscarawas shot 48.1% from the field and capitalized on turnovers to create transition scoring opportunities, keeping Penn State Fayette on its heels throughout the afternoon.
Zoey Steele led the way with a game-high 26 points, showcasing her scoring versatility while also dishing out six assists and pulling down six rebounds. Nevaeh Harrison was highly efficient, scoring 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting, and added six assists while anchoring the defense with active hands and strong on-ball pressure.
Danajia Woodard provided a perimeter spark, knocking down three three-pointers on her way to 14 points and seven rebounds. Mallory Stutzman made her impact felt on both ends of the floor, finishing with 13 points and a game-high six steals that fueled the Golden Eagles' transition game. Off the bench, Katherine Jackson delivered key minutes, scoring 12 points and giving Kent State–Tuscarawas a physical presence inside.
