Kent State–Tuscarawas earned a convincing 66–45 win over Henry Ford Community College, using a balanced team effort and strong second-half play to pull away. After leading 29–28 at halftime, the Golden Flashes dominated the third quarter 20–6 to take control.
Danajia Woodard led the way with an outstanding performance, scoring 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting while adding 11 rebounds for a double-double. Abbey Parker also had a big night on the boards with 12 rebounds and 6 points, while Tamarra Thomas filled the stat sheet with 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Kent St.–Tuscarawas outrebounded Henry Ford 59–38 and forced 28 steals. The team shot 47.4% from the field and 40% from three-point range, cruising to a strong away victory.
The Golden Eagles will take on Glen Oaks Community College on November 8.
