KSU Tuscarawas Comeback In Game 2 Falls Short

Game 1:

Despite a tough 8–0 loss to Salem, Kent State University at Tuscarawas showed flashes of resilience and individual effort worth noting.

Pitching duties were shared, with Reyes providing a steady presence in relief, working four innings and limiting further damage while adding three strikeouts.

At the plate, Shepherd accounted for the team's lone hit, capitalizing on a limited opportunity and demonstrating focus against a dominant opposing pitcher who struck out 12 batters.
