Golden Eagles Golf Wrap Up Spring Season

Day 1:

The Kent State Tuscarawas golf team competed at The Commemorative on March 29, 2026, finishing sixth at Lancaster Golf Club. Playing a 6,739-yard course with a par of 72, the team posted a total score of 350 for the event.

Leading the way for Kent State Tuscarawas was Austen Gunn, who delivered an impressive round of 80 to secure a sixth-place individual finish. Cole Eltringham also contributed a strong performance, carding an 85 and finishing 15th overall.

The remainder of the lineup saw Drew Gallant shoot a 103 (45th), Tanner Norman record a 90 (35th), and Doug Miller finish with a 95 (42nd). While the team showed flashes of strong individual play, particularly at the top of the lineup, the overall score placed them mid-pack in the final standings.

Day 2:

The Kent State Tuscarawas golf team wrapped up play at The Commemorative on March 30, 2026, with a sixth-place finish at Lancaster Golf Club. Competing on the par-72, 6,739-yard course, the team improved its score from the previous round, posting a 341.

Cole Eltringham led the way for Kent State Tuscarawas with a strong round of 82, earning a tie for 19th place. Austen Gunn followed closely with an 83, finishing tied for 11th overall.

Drew Gallant contributed an 86, placing 42nd, while Tanner Norman recorded a 90 to finish 37th. Doug Miller rounded out the lineup with a 97, finishing 43rd.

Overall the team finished 6th/8th over the two day span.
