The men finished 7th in an eight-team field with a score of 346---just seven strokes from fourth---while freshman Leah Wright ushered in a new era of women's golf placing second as an individual.

Wright carded two birdies to go along with two pars on her outward nine to finish with a fine score of 41 in her first-ever collegiate tournament. She ended the day on the 5500 yard Oglebay Resort Jones Course with a 51 on the inward nine for an aggregate score of 92.

The men were led by Cole Eltringham's round of 39/42/81, Connor Rippeth's 43/41/84 and Austen Gunn's 43/45/88. Drew Gallant finished with a 45/48/93.

The next scheduled event for KSU Tusc will be their own Golden Eagles Invitational at Oak Shadows Golf Club on Friday, September 20.
