Golf Eagles Led By Gunn On First Day Of Gatorade

The Golden Eagles Men's Golf Team completed the first round of the Gatorade Collegiate tournament at Zoar Golf Club with an aggregate team score of 346. The two-day event is hosted by the College of Wooster.

The day was highlighted by the play of freshman Austen Gunn, who recorded a round of 41/37/78. Gunn recorded 10 pars on the afternoon-----five coming on each nine-----while also holing out for an eagle from 40 yards off the green on the par five, 495-yard 14th hole.

Sophomore, Cole Eltringham shot 38/44/82 adding nine pars---seven of them coming on the outward nine. Freshmen Drew Gallant and Connor Rippeth each added five-par rounds while finishing 92, 94 respectively.

KSU Tusc will play in Sunday's final round in just their second 18-hole round of the season.
