Golden Eagles Golfer Nick Reeder has been named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Golfer of the Week for the week ending September 28th.
Reeder, a sophomore from Richwood, OH and a graduate of North Union High School, shot a matching pair of 78s and earned medalist honors in two consecutive tournaments last weekend.
Reeder played in KSU Tusc's Golden Eagle Invitational at Oak Shadows Golf Club in New Philadelphia, OH on Friday and carded a birdie and 10 pars to finish 37/41/78. On Saturday he matched that score with a round of 38/40/78 at Youghiogheny Country Club in McKeesport, PA and took home top honors at the PSU Greater Allegheny Invitational. He made two birdies and 10 pars at PSUGA and finished the weekend with three birdies and 21 pars in two rounds of golf.
