Perimeter Firepower Fuels Kent State Tuscarawas

Kent State University at Tuscarawas delivered another dominant performance, defeating Ohio Valley Community College 119–86 in commanding fashion.

The Golden Eagles caught fire early and never cooled off, putting together one of their most explosive shooting nights of the season. Kent State Tuscarawas connected on 21 three-pointers and shot an impressive 58.7% from the field, overwhelming Ohio Valley with elite spacing, unselfish ball movement, and relentless energy on both ends of the floor.

Ethan Bower led the charge with a game-high 36 points in a historic shooting display, knocking down 12 three-pointers while adding four assists. Dasjuan Williams was nearly perfect from beyond the arc, finishing with 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting from three-point range. Garrett Sprutte dominated the glass with a double-double performance of 21 points and 14 rebounds, while also contributing five assists and four steals in a well-rounded effort. Blaine Raber facilitated the offense masterfully, recording seven assists to go along with 10 points and seven rebounds.

The Golden Eagles controlled the boards 43–27 and assisted on 26 of their 44 made field goals, showcasing their chemistry and offensive rhythm. Kent State Tuscarawas also created extra opportunities with active hands, forcing turnovers and converting them into transition points.

Ohio Valley Community College was led by Demarr Clark, who poured in 31 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a strong individual performance. MJ Ellis added 12 points off the bench, and Jonye Madison contributed 12 points and five assists, but the Golden Eagles' perimeter shooting and balanced attack proved too much to overcome.
