Kent State Tuscarawas MBB Falls Just Short Against Bryant & Stratton (Ohio)

December 7, 2025

Kent State Tuscarawas put together a gritty, high-effort performance on Sunday but came up just shy in an 81–78 loss to Bryant & Stratton (Ohio). Despite a balanced scoring attack and strong bench production, late turnovers and defensive lapses allowed the visitors to escape with the narrow win.

The Golden Eagles were led by reserve guard Dasjuan Williams, who provided a major spark off the bench with 18 points, including four three-pointers and a perfect 4-for-4 at the free-throw line. Garrett Sprutte added 13 points and six rebounds, showing consistency throughout the night.

Starter Ethan Bower contributed 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Jerry Arrington controlled the interior with 8 points and 8 rebounds. The bench continued to shine as Jaedyn McLeod chipped in 10 points, knocking down two shots from deep.

As a team, Kent St-Tuscarawas shot 41.2% from the field, 38.7% from three, and an impressive 90.9% at the line. They also were outrebounded by Bryant & Stratton 40–44—but 18 turnovers proved costly in the tight contest.

The Golden Eagles will host the Holiday Classic, beginning with a matchup against Ohio Christian on Friday, December 12, at 6:30 PM.
