On February 3, 2025, Kent State Tuscarawas traveled to Ursuline College to face Bryant and Stratton-Ohio in a late-night matchup. The game was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams exchanging buckets, and it felt like it would come down to the final seconds—and it did. The Golden Eagles received a major contribution from freshman Brody Moreland, who stepped up whenever they needed a basket. Sophomore Mekhi Johnson continued his dominant play, not only scoring but also making key rebounds to control the glass. It was a team that desperately needed a win, and they played with the urgency and determination that reflected just how badly they wanted it.

In the Game, Kent State Tuscarawas defeated Bryant and Stratton-Ohio 73-70.

The Golden Eagles are set to take on Cincinnati Clermont at home on 2/8/25 at 3:00 PM.
