Canton, OH – Kent State Tuscarawas dropped their game to Malone University 65-98 in a tough non-conference matchup. While the Golden Eagles couldn't secure the win, they gained valuable experience, especially from freshmen Garrett Sprutte and Tanner Norman, who showed their potential moving forward this season.

Garrett Sprutte led the way for Kent State with 18 points and added 8 rebounds, tying with Mekhi Johnson for the most on the team. Kyle Shockley also had a solid performance, recording 6 assists to help run the offense.

Kent State Tuscarawas will look to bounce back when they travel to face Thomas More on November 16, 2024, at 7:30 PM.
