Game 1:
Kent State University–Tuscarawas (KSUT) delivered an impressive offensive performance on Sunday but came up just short in a 12–10 walk-off loss to LCCC.
The Eagles showcased their firepower at the plate, racking up 11 hits in a high-scoring back-and-forth battle. KSUT's biggest moment came in the fourth inning, when they erupted for eight runs on seven hits to take a commanding 10–4 lead. The highlight of the inning was a grand slam to center field by Patchett, who finished with a team-high four RBIs.
KSUT first got on the board in the third inning, tying the game after capitalizing on an error and an RBI single by Ashcraft. From there, the Eagles' offense found its rhythm and applied constant pressure.
Salgado led the way in the hit column, going 3-for-4 from the number nine spot in the lineup, while Campbell and Larson each added multiple hits. KSUT also created opportunities on the base paths, swiping three bases in an aggressive effort.
On the mound, Kent got the start and struck out four batters over two and two-thirds innings. Baker added relief work, recording three strikeouts.
LCCC rallied late, tying the game in the sixth before a two-run walk-off home run in the seventh ended the contest.
Game 2:

KSUT showed patience and discipline at the plate throughout the game, drawing seven walks and consistently working deep counts. Campbell and Larson led the way with two walks each, helping the Eagles create scoring opportunities.
Schofield and Patchett delivered offensively, each driving in a run for KSUT. The Eagles also saw contributions across the lineup, with Schofield, Campbell, Salgado, and Walter each recording a hit.
On the mound, Foltz turned in a solid performance, going six innings while allowing just five runs—only three of them earned—on seven hits. He also struck out four, keeping KSUT within reach for much of the game.
KSUT battled from the start after LCCC took an early lead in the first inning, continuing to apply pressure offensively and staying competitive throughout.
