Bohanon drove in five runs on three hits to lead the KSUT Eagles to a 12–7 victory over OVCC on Saturday. Bohanon homered to left field in the first inning to drive in three runs, singled in the second to bring in another run, and added an RBI single in the fifth.
The Eagles' offense erupted for 17 hits in the high-scoring contest, while OVCC finished with seven.
OVCC opened the scoring in the top of the first inning when Fitzgerald launched a two-run home run to center field. KSUT responded immediately in the bottom half, scoring six runs on six hits to take a 6–2 lead. The biggest hit of the inning came when Bohanon delivered a three-run home run to left field following a seven-pitch at-bat.
KSUT added another run in the second inning when Bohanon singled to center field to extend the lead.
OVCC battled back to tie the game in the top of the fifth. Fitzgerald hit a solo home run to right field, Perez tripled, and Thompson later walked to even the score.
The Eagles regained the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning. Maine doubled to left field to drive in a run, Salgado drew a walk that brought in another, and Bohanon added his fifth RBI of the day with a single to left.
Billman earned the win in relief for KSUT, tossing 2.1 innings without allowing a hit or run while striking out four. Kent started on the mound for the Eagles, allowing six hits and five runs over 4.2 innings with seven strikeouts and three walks.
KSUT's lineup stayed hot throughout the game, finishing with 17 hits. Ruhter, Maine, Patchett, and Bohanon each collected three hits, while Schofield and Campbell added multiple hits.
Fitzgerald led OVCC offensively with three RBIs, going 2-for-3 at the plate. Fitzgerald and Sierra each recorded two hits. OVCC also swiped three bases and turned two double plays in the contest.
