Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles Fall To Wright State- Lake Baseball After Surrendering Big First Inning

Wright State- Lake Baseball scored four runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles 7-0 on Friday.
 
Wright State- Lake Baseball got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Jonny Heitkamp singled, scoring one run, Jacob Barr doubled, scoring two runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.
 
Jordan Hipsher earned the win for Wright State- Lake Baseball. The hurler surrendered two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out six and walking one. Cayden Castillo took the loss for Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles. The hurler went four and one-third innings, allowing six runs on seven hits, striking out five and walking three.
 
Matt Jesse, Nathan Ashcraft, and Caleb Salgado each collected one hit for Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles. Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles turned one double play in the game.

Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles fell 6-5 to Wright State- Lake Baseball on Friday despite out-hitting them eight to five. Nathan Ashcraft led Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles with two hits.
 
Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles fell behind by four runs in the fifth inning, but then tried to fight back. Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles closed the gap by scoring on a single, a single, and a walk.
 
Wright State- Lake Baseball were the first to get on the board in the second when Zach Sparks hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles lost to Wright State- Lake Baseball 18-8 on Saturday even though they once led by four runs.
 
Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles collected 10 hits and Wright State- Lake Baseball had 13 in the high-scoring affair.
 
Wright State- Lake Baseball opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two singles. Wright State- Lake Baseball first got on the board when Cade Meade singled, scoring one run.
 
Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring six runs on six hits to take the lead, 6-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Jeremy Patchett that drove in two.
 
Wright State- Lake Baseball flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 10-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Brady Hobert on a full count that drove in two.
 
Wright State- Lake Baseball scored eight runs on five hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Kyle Groneck doubled, scoring two runs, Hobert drew a walk, scoring one run, Jonny Heitkamp homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Liam Musgrove singled, scoring two runs.
 
Levi Rasberry earned the win for Wright State- Lake Baseball. The starting pitcher gave up nine hits and eight runs over four innings, striking out four and walking three. Joe Fischer took the loss for Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles. The starting pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing 10 runs (two earned) on eight hits, striking out four and walking three. Will Lininger earned the save.
