Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles beat Point Park JV 7-5 on Tuesday.
Point Park JV opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Point Park JV first got on the board when Deshon singled, scoring one run.
A wild pitch extended the Point Park JV lead to 3-1 in the top of the third inning.
Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a double by Alex Biars, and a fielder's choice by Nathan Ashcraft.
A ground out by Biars gave Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles the lead, 4-3, in the bottom of the fifth.
In the top of the sixth inning, Point Park JV went back into the lead after Ewing tripled, and Briones hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles Rally Defeats Point Park JV

Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles trailed by as many as four, but came back to top Point Park JV on Tuesday, 10-5.
Point Park JV got on the board in the first inning after Deshon doubled, scoring two runs.
Point Park JV extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI doubles by Ewing and Briones.
Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the sixth, scoring eight runs on five hits to take the lead, 10-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to right field by Andrew Powell that drove in three.
Ryan Heu earned the win for Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles. The right-handed pitcher gave up six hits and five runs (three earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking four. Mckeon started on the hill for Point Park JV. The pitcher gave up four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out six and walking three. Cayden Castillo threw one inning of scoreless ball for Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles in relief. The hurler gave up one hit, striking out two and walking one.
