The Lady Golden Eagles Women's Bowling Team hit the lanes this past weekend at the Brunswick Midwestern Championship. The event didn't go quite as planned, as a power outage caused a three-hour delay after the first of five team games. Despite the rocky start, the team began to find their rhythm by the end of day one.
Freshman Keara Dickey posted the high game of the day with a 184 in game five. The high five-game series went to Freshman Hailee Ulman with a 782 series, followed closely by Sophomore Zoey Elliott with a 762, and Freshman Ivy Slutz with a 691.
Day two featured all baker games (16 total), and the Lady Golden Eagles bounced back with a solid showing, picking up valuable pins and momentum heading into next weekend.
The team will be back in action this weekend at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout in Indianapolis, IN.
